Charline von Heyl is a German artist based in New York. Her first solo exhibition opened at the Dallas Museum of Art in 2005. She has also had solo exhibitions at Friedrich Petzel Gallery in New York, Secession in Vienna, Galerie Baerbel Graesslin in Frankfurt, and Galerie Gisela Capitain in Cologne. She has participated in group shows at Greene Naftali, New York; Gavin Brown Enterprises, New York; and the Goethe-Institut International, Madrid, among others. Von Heyl's work is included in the public collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. She has been featured in publications such as Artforum, Frieze, Modern Painters, Texte Zur Kunst, and the New York Times.
