FA 101b is a second semester foundational drawing course in which students will learn to further develop critical observational skills, technical knowledge and expressive imagery. Students will be encouraged to learn how to use and draw personal concepts, while continuing to draw from observation. The thematic emphasis will be the human form and the figurative drawing experience through use of traditional drawing materials. Students will be introduced to and use Intuos digital tablets and computer applications, as currently used in studio drawing courses.
