The focus of this course is to improve fundamental drawing skills by way of classically drawing the figure. While most sessions include drawing from a live model, the goals is to invent figures from your imagination. These skills have a broad application throughout the animation industry from storyboarding to character animation and visual development. These skills also apply to many other areas of the art world from creating comic books to fine art painting.
Not available for credit to studio majors. Recommended preparation: FA 101a or equivilant beginning drawing course.
