This 15-week course will provide students with an exciting alternative to traditional classroom based learning. Students will experience first-hand historical and contemporary aspects of the New York art and design world.

During USC Spring Break, students will travel to New York City for a week and visit numerous design firms, studios and museums. They will be given an opportunity to meet and interact with leaders in the design industry and tour renowned design firms. During the semester and trip students will maintain an e-journal and conclude the term with a presentation of their experience.

Beyond two units of USC tuition fees, an additional cost of $1750 covers round-trip airfare, accommodations, appointments at renowned design firms and agencies, museum entry fees, and select group meals.
