Margit Omar holds an MFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Her works have been included in exhibitions at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the San Francicso Museum of Modern Art, the Denver Museum, Bank of America Plaza, and Chicago International Art Exposition. Omar has received LACMA's Young Talent Award, a USC Innovative Faculty Grant, a National Endowment for the Arts grant, and an artist residency at the World Fellowship Foundation in Moscow.
