Associate Professor SHARON LOCKHART was recently the subject of a solo exhibition at the Secession in Vienna, Austria, which focused on her recent films Lunch Break and EXIT. Lockhart's work was also included in major recent museum exhibitions including Sites at the Whitney Museum of American Art and Index: Conceptualism in California from the Permanent Collection at the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles. She has had exhibitions at galleries and museums around the world, including the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Kunsthalle in Zurich, Museum Boijman van Beuningen in Rotterdam, Galerie Yvon Lambert in Paris, and Kunstergaus in Stuttgart. Lockhart, a recipient of grants from the Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department and the Asian Cultural Council, is included in numerous public collections includng those of Albright-Knox Gallery, the Eli Broad Family Foundation, LACMA, and MOCA.
