Sherin Guirguis earned a BA at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1997 and an MFA at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2001. She has had solo shows at Patricia Faure Gallery in Santa Monica and Space Gallery and Miller Durazo Gallery in Los Angeles. Guirguis's work has recently been included in group exhibitions Quickening at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tucson, Panopti(con) at Bank Gallery in Los Angeles and Las Vegas Diaspora: The Emergence of Contemporary Art from the Neon Homeland at the Las Vegas Art Museum and the Laguna Art Museum. In addition, she has curated several exhibitions, including Midas at Post Gallery in Los Angeles, Girl on Girl at Miller Durazo Gallery, and Peace at Frumkin/Duval Gallery in Santa Monica.
