Advisement for Roski Art Majors

Undergraduate Students

All continuing students must meet with their Roski advisor before registering for Fall 2013 classes.

*Seniors: If your STARS report has the message, "All requirements completed, in progress courses used," you DO NOT need to come in for advisement.

The Fall 2013 Schedule of Classes will be available on March 11th: www.usc.edu/soc

Students will also be able to view their Fall 2013 individual registration appointment times on myUSC beginning March 11. Please visit https://my.usc.edu/, go to OASIS, then Permit to Register.

Class standing is based on the number of units COMPLETED and does not include current classes. To find out your class standing, go to https://my.usc.edu/, go to OASIS, then STARS Report.

Schedule an Appointment for Mandatory Advisement in Watt 116:

For an appointment call 213-821-1290. Hours are Monday - Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm.

Students with last names A-K should schedule their meeting with Academic Advisor Christina Aumann. Roski majors meeting with Christina will also be able to schedule their appointment online at myUSC, located under the Advisement Tab.

Students with last names L-Z should schedule their meeting with Academic Advisor Frankie Sandoval.

Appointment Policy and Courtesy Drop-In Days:

• If you are unable to attend your scheduled meeting, please email your advisor as soon as possible. Christina: aumann@usc.edu; Frankie: frankies@usc.edu.

If you are more than 10 minutes late, miss your appointment, or cancel your appointment less than 24 hours in advance, you must come to the next available Drop-In Day. D-clearance requests from these students will be reviewed on April 12th or later, during the advisement meeting.

• Hours for Drop-In Days on April 12th and 23rd are 9:00 - 11:50am and 1:00 - 4:00pm.

• There is no guarantee you will be able to meet with your advisor on drop-in days.

For the Most Productive Advisement Meeting:

1. Write down your questions in advance.

2. Bring a list of your planned classes for Fall 2013, including section numbers, class times and days.

3. Bring your course plan with each of the classes you plan to take each semester until graduation. This should be based on the remaining requirements on your STARS report, available at OASIS via myUSC.
