Job Description:
We're looking for an artist able to help us transform a Kandinsky 2d line drawing that' we'll provide into an animated avatar for our game: a single-player platformer in which the player actively engages with the content of some modern painting.
We're eager for our avatar to be able to perform five different movements, including:
• a walk/run;
• a fun idle animation;
• a jump;
• a fall;
• a death;
• a warping animation.
We'd love to hear your ideas as to the quality of movement the character should have...
In addition, we're likely to need:
• a walking animation for (perhaps) 2 enemy characters yet to be designed.
We would need all of this work to be completed by FRIDAY 19 NOVEMBER.
In exchange for this help, we can provide you the opportunity to:
• contribute to a great, interesting game for which you'll be credited;
• work with an interesting, fun team of game designers from USC's Interactive Media division;
• eat good, free FOOD!!!
• and (possibly) receive course credit for the work. (Our department will pursue that opportunity with yours.)
Qualifications:
Skills required for animating the stylized 2d line drawing we'll provide.
Applications:
Please contact Diane Tucker or 617 233 2627. Applicants should provide examples of their work with applications.
