Undergraduate Admission - How to Apply
1. USC Application
Complete a general USC online application and submit fee (or fee waiver) to the USC Office of Admission.
2. Portfolio
All undergraduate applicants must upload a portfolio of 10-15 recent images of artwork (completed within the last two years) at http://roski.slideroom.com.
The portfolio should not only represent the applicant's best skills in art, either in a variety of media or in a single area, but should also demonstrate the development of an idea (or ideas) and a concept that has inspired the work as a whole.
The portfolio can consist of in-class projects and assignments and/or work done on your own, but please do not submit renderings that have been directly copied from media images.
Submit your portfolio online at http://roski.slideroom.com
3. Artist Statement
In addition to the Portfolio, applicants must upload an artist statement that reflects their interests in art, including what inspires their work, and why they would like to study art at USC. This statement will be read by the studio faculty admissions committee as measure of the applicant's creativity, self-awareness, determination and vision.
