This class is intended to be a summation of your undergraduate work, and to aid you as you look ahead to your future career. Throughout this course, you will identify your assets and your passions, refine and develop your work, and learn to present yourself professionally. The course is divided into fine arts and design sections. In the fine arts section, you will document your work; develop a portfolio packet complete with artist statement, cover letter, résumé, and PDF and hard-copy portfolios; and produce a group exhibition. In the design section, you will create a PDF and bound portfolio of your work, with cover letter and résumé, and develop a list of potential employers. All students will give an oral and visual presentation of their work at the end of the semester
Recommended preparation: 8 units of 300- or 400-level FA studio coursework in your emphasis area.
