The design area provides a strong foundation in the practical and theoretical skills crucial to many forms of visual communication. The area's emphasis on visual problem solving and interdisciplinary practice build skills relevant to many art-related fields. Advanced students have the opportunity to work on collaborative projects with corporate partners as well as pursue their own design vision and professional internships.
