This class open to upper-level students by invitation only. To participate, students must be recommended by a USC Roski design instructor. The class consists of two components: (1) working on projects for outside clients and (2) learning professional practices.

The first component is the project. Students enrolled in this class will work on a research project (or in some cases, two projects).

The second component of this class is professional practices, and will cover information on contracts, agreements, copyright issues, billing procedures, invoices, estimates, printing issues, etc.

Fine Arts design students make up the core group of this class, but other students will be invited from other areas of the university, depending on the nature of the semester's projects.
