Internships at Roski - for Sponsors
Thank you for considering USC Roski students for an internship!
In order to receive credit for an internship, students must work a minimum of 150 supervised hours over the course of a 16-week semester, or during the summer recess, under the mentorship of a sponsor in an art-related facility. Upon completing an internship, students submit a three-page paper describing the internship and what they've learned, and the sponsor completes a short evaluation of the student. Grades for internships are then determined by the paper and evaluation.
If you can accommodate the stipulations the above, then you as sponsor will complete an internship contract with the chosen student(s), who will then submit it to Penelope Jones at the USC Roski School at the beginning of each semester, prior to registering for credit.
