Scholarships
The USC Roski School of Fine Arts annually awards in excess of $240,000 in departmental scholarships to its undergraduate students. Talent awards for incoming freshmen range from $2,000 to $4,000 each, totaling about $70,000 in a given year, and are based on quality of application portfolios. All incoming students are automatically considered for these awards; a separate scholarship application is not necessary.
Awards are made for one year, and students must apply for subsequent years. Some awards for continuing art majors are targeted to advanced students, or students working in a specific medium; other awards have no such restrictions.
