Nahui Garcia is an art historian and curator with a Bachelor Arts in Art History from the University of Southern California. Her focus of study for the past year has been exploring the representation of people before and after the Independence of Mexico, specifically in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
In the past, she has worked as the Program Coordinator at the Museo Nacional de Arte (MUNAL) in Mexico City, assisted with the organization of College Night 2016 at the Getty Center, and received the Getty Marrow Undergraduate Internship at Venice Arts in Los Angeles. Most recently, she curated the show Look Who Talking Now. She is currently a candidate in the MA Curatorial Studies and the Public Sphere program at USC.
