Bianca Moran was born in Los Angeles and raised between LA and the Bay Area. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A in Political Science and minored in Ethnic Studies. She was an educator in Los Angeles for over 10 years and has a Master's degree in Education from UCLA. She will be pursuing an M.A. in Curatorial Practice in the Public Sphere. She is primarily concerned with the intersections of art and education as resistance and activism in conjunction with exploring ideas of race, identity, politics and history through productions of culture. Her practice is focused on the decolonizing of institutions and reimagining art history and the spaces where art resides. She is also a mother to the magnificent Paloma Bloom.
