about the exhibition

Eukaryotic cells are defined as constituting the cellular makeup of all animals, plants, fungi, and unicellular organisms. Through intricate and labor intensive processes, Ada Liv translates organic materials into works emulating essential cellular forms. Utilizing natural textiles, pigments, wood, and plants, the materials and manipulator of these pieces are one and the same, eukaryotic organisms. Ada’s debut solo exhibition, Eukaryote, aims to turn the invisible into a spectacle larger than life, inviting you to come under the microscope and explore her cellular world.
