Dean Haven, faculty members, Roski staff and the RAD ambassadors (fellow students) look forward to meeting new Roski School students and transfers at Watt Hall South Lawn for lunch after the new student convocation. This is a great opportunity to get answers to any questions you have regarding your time at USC.

Families are encouraged to attend however will be asked to leave at 12:15pm. There will be a student only activity until 1pm.

Additional announcements

This Thursday, August 18, there are three major events occurring at UPC/the Coliseum (below) – we expect significant vehicle traffic and area congestion all day, but especially in the afternoon/evening commute hours leading up to the latter two events. Please make note of the events below should you be coming to campus during these times.    

 

USC NEW STUDENT CONVOCATION (8:30am–10:30am)

President Folt welcomes all incoming students at this annual event held in Alumni Park. Vehicle barricades will be in place around campus from approximately 6:30am-noon.

 

LOS BUKIS CONCERT AT THE COLISEUM (Parking lots open 4:00pm; Gates open 6:00pm; Concert 8:00-10:30pm)

The historic 25th anniversary reunion tour of the iconic Mexican group is already the biggest-ever Latin music stadium tour in the United States, and was the #2 most-successful tour of 2021 worldwide.  50,000+ attendees expected.

 

SPARK! 17TH ANNUAL VISIONS AND VOICES KICKOFF AND ARTS FEST (7:30pm start)

This FREE (USC ID required) multimedia event will include live music, dance, and spoken word; art installations and activations; giveaways; a dance party; and more!
