Diane William's Artwork Installed at Rowland Heights Library
USC Roski alum (MFA Art '21) and local Filipino-American artist Diane Williams has just had an artwork installed at the Rowland Heights Library. The new tapestry sends a message of cultural solidarity in response to the increase in hate attacks against Asians and Asian Americans. The patchwork piece is in the shape of L.A. County and is made up of fabrics with cultural significance embroidered with flowers. The work will remain on view throughout the summer.
