Artists often work alone, but the USC Roski’s many disciplines joined forces for the art and design school’s first combined Open Studios event.
The Dec. 10 event showcased work of undergraduate students in all of the school’s departments: ceramics, design, drawing, intermedia, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.
Visitors had the opportunity to visit the school’s many studios and discuss the works with the student artists, some of whom were drawing and painting during the one-night-only exhibition. Works were displayed in the school’s Watt and Harris halls and in the Watt Hall Sculpture Yard, where a food truck was on hand to feed hungry art lovers.
The school hosts ongoing exhibitions throughout the year.
