Jean Robison is an interdisciplinary multimedia artist – working primarily in digital media, the internet and social practice. Robison is a member of Finishing School a socially engaged art, design, and technology collective that was founded in 2001. Their practice explores areas of play, praxis, and activism with projects that attempt to demystify cultural production and engage viewers into various participatory models. They present their work throughout the United States and internationally.

Robison’s work has been shown in numerous venues nationally and internationally. She is co-founder of an artist residency located in Oaxaca, Mexico and has curated several exhibitions in the greater Los Angeles Area. A dedicated educator with a deep interest in interdisciplinary learning,  her art and design practice often overlap with teaching and vice versa.
