Alia is a Sophomore BA Art and BA Communication double major from Dallas, Texas. She is passionate about black-and-white film photography, and shoots her work with a focus on lighting and the natural world. Her interests lie in shooting the unseen and the overlooked, and capturing the beauty within it. Alia is an active member of the USC community, working as a staff photographer for the Daily Trojan and a social media chair for her sorority, and serving as a trip lead for the outdoors club Peaks and Professors. Alia has additionally held job positions and internships in both the commercial and fine art worlds, working in the product photography and museum curation spaces. In her free time, Alia loves listening to live music and hiking around Los Angeles, but normally she can be found in one of the photography darkrooms on campus.
