Alden is a freshman from Long Island, New York. She is studying Fine Arts BFA and is interested in painting, sculpture and installation. Alden particularly loves abstract figurative painting and nonrepresentational art, and is always eager to experiment in her practice. She draws inspiration from the emotional essence of figures and emulates the energy of landscapes of her hometown in her paintings. She also explores human relationships and abstraction in her work. When she is not in the studio, Alden enjoys visiting art exhibitions, hiking, and listening to music; she is also a part of student organizations like the Roski Mag Design Team. Alden is excited to meet new students and encourages them to reach out!
