A Celebration of Creativity and Connection at USC Roski NYC Alumni Brunch
A spirited celebration of creativity and connection unfolded mid April as USC Roski alumni gathered for a special brunch in New York City. Hosted at The Smith, the event welcomed former Trojans from both undergraduate and graduate programs, with attendees spanning class years from the 1960s to the 2020s.
Conversation quickly filled the space as guests bonded over shared memories, professional journeys, and artistic passions. The brunch featured hot coffee and teas, sweet and savory items, and a variety of desserts to share.
From established art directors and curators to emerging multimedia artists, the guest list showcased the breadth and impact of USC Roski’s art programs. The event also included a short welcome speech from Dean Haven Lin-Kirk and updates on campus and alumni developments at the USC Roski School of Art and Design.
Multiple attendees said the event was not only inspiring, but also just plain fun—adding that they “can’t wait for the next one.”
Many of the alumni may have experienced USC decades apart, and are far from the USC campus, but there’s definitely a powerful sense of community.
