Elias Hernandez is an American Latino painter from Sunnyvale, California. He received his BA in Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles 2020 and a minor in Arts Education. His work captures personal snapshots of his childhood memories through dreamscapes, fantasies, figures, and narratives. Much of his work is heavily composed of exploring new textures, surrealness, and creatures that embody older work to create new fantasy worlds that bring sentimental remembrance. Now interested in merging self-identity exploration and spirituality, he hopes to bridge new visuals and scenes that capture his life as a first-generation Latino artist within his realm of figures.
