Kali Victoria (b. 1992, Norwalk, California) is an interdisciplinary artist creating work centering around her and her family’s queer history. Using underglaze on clay and analog collage, she paints tangible memories of queerness, sexual fantasies, and healing generational trauma as queer folk in traditional Mexican Catholic households. Victoria aims to create conversation about what healthy sexual exploration looks like, particularly for women and queer folx. Her work has been featured in exhibitions and publications, such as Originals Por Vida, LAST Projects, Altadena Library, and San Gabriel Pride.
