Undergraduate Minors
The ever-increasing value of creativity and visual literacy in the internet age makes art and design relevant to nearly every field. The USC Roski School’s minor programs help you meet your creative goals, regardless of your major, by giving you a foundation in art and design theoretical concepts and practical skills crucial to visual communication and representation.
Studio and Interdisciplinary Minors
Roski offers seven intensive studio minors, each focusing on a different area of visual art, and four interdisciplinary minors. You’ll be required to take at least four courses (16 units) that are unique to your minor. No portfolio is required, but you should complete an art, design or critical studies class at Roski before applying, and meet with your major academic advisor.

Roski’s Fashion Minor
Available to all enrolled USC students, USC Roski’s interdisciplinary minor in Fashion brings together seven USC professional schools to challenge current fashion industry norms and inspire students to create technology enabled, sustainable practices to facilitate meaningful change.
