Sandra is a sophomore from Hayward CA currently pursuing a BFA in design. With a foundation in fine arts, including painting and ceramics, she is also passionate about illustration, branding, and apparel/jewelry design. Sandra is a Graphic Designer at the USC Bookstore and she also enjoys working on public art projects, having completed mural and mosaic tile work for public spaces in the past. She loves weird art that explores the human psyche, inspired by artists like Cathy Lu and Hannah Jane Martin, Sandra uses art to build a visual language to communicate themes around femininity, childhood, and culture. When she’s not at the studio she enjoys getting matcha, going to the beach or watching horror movies.
