Selina Ou

Roski Ambassador

Selina is a Junior art major transferred from Pasadena City College in Fall 2024, deepening her passions in music and fiction to encourage her urges for adventures and enlightenment. An avid illustrationist and singer, she has been a driving force since high school as an ambassador for feminism and autism, which she is diagnosed with; this leads to her visual series: “Damsels Interlude,” that she started since her USC application process, where she uses surreal feminine portraits to tell stories of her personal life growing up with the disability while navigating young womanhood surrounding the themes of morbidity, spiritual awakening, and healing one’s inner child, while tackling real life issues to break barriers to promote inclusion for the underdogs in hopes to spark hope and creativity to aspiring artists/designers to share their voices to better the society.
