USC Roski, with its location in downtown Los Angeles and the Graduate Building in the L.A. Arts District, offers proximity to some of the most enviable internships and jobs the art and design worlds offer. And learning in the school’s community of working creatives gives you connections to museums, galleries, entertainment companies and agencies, all regularly seeking new creative talent.
Roski Internships
At Roski, you have access to internships that are uniquely suited for art and design students. Whatever your focus, you can build career-related experience in Los Angeles, at museums and galleries, movie studios and TV networks, magazines, advertising and marketing agencies, design firms and more.
USC Roski maintains relationships with dozens of L.A. cultural institutions, design studios and other entities, who access our system to post internship opportunities that students can interact with directly. Faculty may also connect you with potential internships. Through these opportunities, whether you’re an undergraduate and graduate student, you can test your skills and knowledge, put your learnings into action, develop connections with potential future employers and build your resume.

Internship Credits
A real-world course for sophomores, juniors and seniors, Professional Internship in the Arts guides you to use skills you’ve learned in class as you gain professional experience in an art- or design-related internship. You’ll work at least 150 hours and earn two units of credit over the fall, spring or summer semester.
