MFA Alumni Featured in Exhibition at Chez Max et Dorothea

Roski MFA Art alumni Casey Kauffmann (2020) and Lainey Racah (2022) have artwork featured in Mother Me Meanly, a group exhibition at Chez Max et Dorothea in Los Angeles. Mother Me Meanly considers seemingly deviant definitions of the maternal, rejecting the good mother/bad mother binary and embracing monstrous mothers for their inherent mutability and psychic complexity, while exploring the mother wound as both a site for trauma and transformation.
