Keith Mayerson Painting Featured in The Art Newspaper and USC Daily Trojan

Keith Mayerson’s painting “9/11” was featured in The Art Newspaper. In the article — written by Nancy Kenney, David D’Arcy and Wallace Ludel — Mayerson, who was living in New York at the time of the 9/11 attack, stated that the work ‘was the hardest painting I had ever done in my life.” The work is now in the collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art where former President Barack Obama viewed it in 2015.
