Lucy Cook is a Los Angeles designer and educator with an interest in photography and collage as a performative medium for participatory design. Her former collage collective, Confetti Confidential, was invited for ad hoc residencies, exhibitions, and workshops at the Echo Chamber (Echo Park), Human Resources (Chinatown) and Honor Fraser Gallery (Culver City), the CalArts Print Fair, and Big City Forum (Pacoima). Also, as an extention from the group, she led “Evenings of Collage” at Women’s Center for Creative work (WCCW), meeting weekly for a year.
Lucy also taught “Bookmaking for Photographers” in the Photography Media Program at Calarts focusing on the assembling of artists' books, layout, typography and printing methods.
She earned an MFA at California Institute of the Arts and a BFA at University of Georgia.
