Adrianne Ramsey

Adrianne Ramsey is an independent curator and arts editor based in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. Her curatorial practice focuses on representation, inclusivity, and highlighting artists of diverse racial, queer, and cultural backgrounds. She has curated and organized group exhibitions for Root Division (San Francisco, CA), Berkeley Art Center (Berkeley, CA), and USC Roski Galleries (Los Angeles, CA), which feature exhibition catalogues and public programming. She is the editor and self-publisher of numerous publications: "GIRLS Magazine" (2017 - Present), "SPINE" (2020), and "A Fantastic Sight" (2021), and her writing on contemporary art and culture has appeared in several publications. Recent achievements include being a 2020 YBCA 100 Honoree and a 2019-2020 Emerging Arts Professionals Fellow (SF/Bay Area). She is a MA Candidate in Curatorial Practices and the Public Sphere at the University of Southern California, from where she also holds a BA in Art History.
