Body and Soul is a series of long exposure photographs centered around the abstraction of the human body in relation to movement and garment. Infusing time as a destabilizer, these photographs depict the human body as a series of unique shapes that are revealed to us only during the subtle nuances of movement. Presenting his first solo exhibition, Roski BFA candidate Brian Xu is excited to share a series of work that blurs the line between garment, sculpture, and performance.
